YOUR SUPPORT

We currently receive support from:

    Volunteers and community agencies -people and community agencies, such as Volunteer Wellington and Rotary groups, who give of their time unselfishly and at no cost

    Partnerships - cooperative provision of literacy services with other agencies, such as Literacy Aotearoa Inc, IHC

    Businesses who provide support and work experience: The Warehouse, Burger King, KFC, Amalgamated Videos

    Funding bodies- community groups (Wellington and Rongotai Community Education Centres), local government (Wellington City Council), central government (Internal Affairs - Lottery Grants Board, Ministry of Education - TEC), CH Izard Bequest and Alexandra Trust.

    Voluntary tutors - to address our waiting list of learners

    If you're interested in becoming a Volunteer Tutor you can register an interest here or send an email to volunteer@literacywellington.org.nz

    Funding - membership, donations, gifting of resources to help us assist learners and ensure ongoing viability, e.g. expanding our services and trying new initiatives.

    Online Learning - Over the next coming months we will develop interactive learning tools as part of our strategy to provide online resource where possible. Click here to see the few tools collected so far.
